Finalmente siamo giunti al sodo e Daria, la nostra sexy biondina siberiana, si è svelata per quello che in realtà è: una scammer. Dopo avermi raccontato con il suo spam la storia del suo viaggio dalla Kacha, nei dintorni di Krasnoyarsk,fino a San Pietroburgo, tappa verso l’Italia, ora è arrivata la richiesta di soldi tipica di queste truffe, note con il nome di SCAM.

Daria mi racconta che non aveva previsto che i viaggi aerei potessero costare così tanto e che è partita con l’equivalente di 900 dollari americani. Il volo dalla siberia all’ex Leningrado le è costata $600 e l’agenzia le ha detto che il volo da San Pietroburgo a Malpensa via Varsavia costa 980 dollari. La richiesta è quindi quella di contribuire al suo viaggio con 680 dollari. Come ulteriore conferma mi ha allegato il suo piano di volo, che ho verificato essere verosimilie sul sito delle aerolinee polacche LOT.

Per rassicurarmi che è tutto OK e che una volta avuti i soldi arriverà in Italia mi ha inviato anche la foto del suo passaporto. Nonostante sia un evidente fotomontaggio è fatta benino, anche se per essere più credibile sarebbe bastato un po’ di filtro ‘sfocatura‘ in Photoshop, per rendere più omogenei la fototessera e il resto del passaporto.

Come ulteriore rassicurazione mi ha detto che ha fatto anche gli esami del sangue e che è in ottima forma, sbagliando però la traduzione inglese, che risulta così abbastanza agghiacciante per la semplice sostituzione di una ‘e’ con una ‘a’. Mi scrive infatti: ‘I tasted my blood‘, che suona in italiano ‘ho assaggiato il mio sangue‘….

Alla sua richiesta io ho prontamente risposto, dicendo che in pausa pranzo ho effettuato il trasferimento di denaro, con Western Union, come lei mi aveva detto comunicandole il codice per il ritiro del denaro, naturalmente inventato, per rendere la cosa più veritiera le ho anche allegato l’immagine della ricevuta (naturalmente trovata su internet) così piccola da essere illeggibile.

Ecco a voi tutta la conversazione, da notare che in questa email e in quella di risposta al mio invio di denaro (in cui semplicemente mi chiede conferma dei dati) è finalmente apparso il mio nome all’incipit della lettera, dove prima c’erano solo formule impersonali come ‘my darling‘ o la più prosaica ‘Hello my lovely knight in the shining armor‘:

It is pretty easy to use. The guy from the agency explained to me how their
system works. It is instant worldwide money transfer system. All you need is my
name and my surname to send me the money. Once you do this , I’ll be able
to pickup the money in any local Western Unuion office in St.-Petersburg.
We need to do it pretty fast,
because we have no time till my intervew,if everything will be all
right I will be on this flight!
