Era un bel po’ che non si facevano più sentire gli specialisti delle truffe alla nigeriana, raggiri informatici che promettendo grosse cifre sottraggono soldi ai malcapitati e maldestri utenti che vi cascano. Mentre le scammer russe  ci chiedono soldi in cambio della promessa di ricoprirci una volta giunte in Italia con tutto il loro amore, qui la promessa è quella di avere una parte di una grossa fortuna che il truffante deve cercare di far uscire dal suo paese solitamente dopo la morte di uno stretto parente, colui che l’ha messa da parte.

Chi si avventura in questo tipo di truffe rischia grosso: dapprima gli vengono chieste cifre piccole e medie per le spese di avvocati e notai, ma possono anche venire convocati per un incontro di persona, con il rischio di essere anche rapinati, malmenati e via dicendo. In genere negli scorsi anni queste truffe avevano come sfondo qualche paese africano dalla situazione politica irrequieta. In genere le morti del riccone erano causate da incidenti o rivolte.

Nell’email che ho ricevuto oggi invece la truffa arriva dall’Oriente, dalle Filippine per la precisione. Un particolare però suona subito strano, l’indirizzo da cui la mail è giunta ubah78@mail.ru, con quel bel dominio che ci richiama alla mente le nostre biondine gnoccolone dagli occhi dolci. Qui il padre è morto assassinato e la figlia Gloria sta cercando di uscire dal suo paese con in dote 3 milioni di dollari, chiedendo il nostro aiuto.

Ecco la prima mail e in seguito quella che mi è giunta in risposta, questa volta da un dominio francese gloria.p2002@yahoo.fr:

of Philippines. My father survived an attempt murder in life on the 27th of
October 2005. And was killed 19th of January 2007.Since the first attempt till
date his murderers  have not been identified .

I am afraid of my life because i believe his death has to do with the
government or politicians because my father was against corruption.After the
first attempt on my father’s life,  he went to secure  US$3 Million  outside
the country.

I would want you to assist me retrieve this money,so that i will come to live
a new life in your country.
